How to use Algae & Waterline Stain Remover

Spray Algae & Waterline Stain Remover onto surface - wait a few seconds and wipe stain away - rinse with water
Algae & Waterline Stain remover can also be sprayed onto an applicator (paper towel, cloth, etc) and just wipe away stain - rinse with water
For Heavy Algae Stains a second application may be necessary

Note: Algae & Waterline Stain Remover may streak antifouling paint but will not remove paint or compromise its performance.

Note: two coats of the YachtShine Phenomenon at the waterline will seal your gelcoat and help prevent algae and vegetation from deep staining.

Algae and Waterline Stain Remover

I was surprised to see when looking at my favorite product that there were no customer reviews, so I thought I would post one.

I have been using this product for many years to clean the algae and slime that accumulates on my boat after just a few days in Saratoga Lake (Saratoga Springs, NY). Every time I want to take my boat to Lake George, I need to make sure that the hull is spotless to keep any hitchhikers out of Lake George. The first time I needed to do this, I used a very popular, but extremely caustic cleaner. While it did work, I found that it took my breath away every time i got too close. On my next trip the local boating supply store, I saw this and gave it a try.

Not only does this product remove the "junk" from my hull. it did it even easier than the other, more caustic application. I simply spray a quarter of the hull at a time (21 1/2' Mako Walkaround), scrub briefly with a brush, and rinse. Junk is GONE. The surprising part of the application is that even when you are done, your boat continues to get better for the next day or so. I guess the residual algae and waterline stain remover that stays on after rinsing keeps working.

Another short story. My buddy, who keeps his boat on Lake George was using the product and spilled it in his face, getting it in his eyes. He called the hotline, AND YOU ANSWERED! Although you had not tested this in a persons eyes, you told him he could rinse with water if he felt the need, but that there was nothing in the product that would cause harm. He was quite surprised that there were no ill effects, and he was back cleaning his hull in a matter of minutes.

Truly a remarkable product. Does what it says it will, every time. Thanks for all of your products, this one in particular, as it makes clean up a breeze.
